Guarding Your Heart

*My intent is not to hate. My intent is not to alarm. My intent is not to chastise or cause offense. My intent is to spread the gospel of Christ, Jesus by whose blood we are saved.

If this offends you ... I forgive you, as I would hope you me.

Beloved, it is especially important these days to guard your heart from the enemy, the devil. Often times people will guard their hearts from another bad relationship because the last was too scaring, or will guard themselves from entirely from alcohol and drugs. Still others guard their hearts from any emotion, and devote themselves to leading completely lonely lives. While those things are understandable, commendable, and unfortunate, one thing is for certain in our lives today. There is an interest in spiritual matters, which is of much importance. An increase in adopting a spiritual life has become more prevalent. A spiritual life may simply be believing in one God (Islam, Judaism, Christianity), believing in multiple Gods (deities, which are exclusive to pagan/ polytheistic religions), believing in no god (atheism, agnosticism, deism), and yes even going to the gym to get your daily Yoga routine in. All of those things are incredibly spiritual in some way, shape, or form. But I'm not here to talk about your health habits, or what your thoughts are on the 'big bang' theory or whether or not our human logic can even find or prove the existence of a 'god'. I am going to ask that you drop your pre-concieved dogmas for a second and really consider the efforts recently to merge religions and what that means for us as Christians, and if not Christians, then American citizens.

What? Yes. Merge religions. For those of you who are in the dark on the topic, I have a page for you to view. Now, given the excitement lately about the push from congress to shut down sites like Wikipedia, I couldn't help but use a page from the one and only "free encyclopedia" to get back in the swing of things.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coexist

Now, I was unaware that this was even a movement. I suppose there are people who think it's cool to wear it as a bumper sticker, because the symbols are ancient and fascinating, hip and cool, or just plain symbols. Well, I found out that I was wrong. And many people who sport the bumper sticker or, as I'm sure, wear the shirts  or arm-band bracelets, might not have a clue about what they even mean. Well, given the article and the purpose of the movement, it appears that their goal is to tell you "it's okay. We'll just 'coexist.' We don't need old-tyme religion." This is a breach of some sort of security many Christian Americans have. But, it's not exclusive to only Christians. There are Jews, as well. Of course there are many patriotic Americans who don't follow Christ, and yes, their security has been breeched as well. I'm saying, simply, that while our country was established on Christian ideals (which is not entirely true), there is a global effort to change that. The "danger" or threat of security is that we already have some sort of identity, whether it's totally Jesus or totally American.

This is a war on America and Christianity by Islam and other religions of the world, established to confuse and bend our principles in half in order to establish new ones. The new principle is one phrase: world peace. The only way to attain global, world peace is through a harmony and blending of all the world's religions, governments, economies, and the likes. The Coexist movement is simply one cog in the scheme of this global effort to establish a New World Order (NWO).

Yes, I said it. NWO. Many think this is great, but those confounded by the thought and possibility of this even happening are those people who believe, from somewhere inside them, that this is wrong, that it must be some sort of breech against some ancient code. The code is simply innate, imbedded by God the day he created us. It is an awakening of the human spirit, which is a yearning to know God personally. It is something inside us telling us that our place is in God's kingdom, not the world.

But this effort is not, as I've said, limited to just Coexist. No. There are many other efforts to rid the world of Christians and their "Infidel dogma." For instance, lately there has been talk of a new religion.

A NEW RELI-- RE--. A NEW RELIGION?

I hope I didn't stutter. I said it, and my research proves to be true.

If you follow that link, you'll find an article. In that article are statements made by Rick Warren, who you may know is the "founder and pastor of Saddleback Community Church in Orange County California." The main issue of the day is how a Christian leader, responsible for building many souls up in preparation for Christ's return, can get away with combining two completely opposite religions.

Now, for some insight from the Bible, the Word of God:

Jesus says in Matthew 10:33:
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

We are also told, in 1 John 4:1

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Nothing screams "phalse prophet" in recent days than what has occurred in conferences around the nation, focusing on merging two opposing religions. We should try, not merge. God is God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. None other comes before the Almighty God.

The final point is this: while we may rebel against God, a part of us is always yearning. Take advantage of that call, of that light that dares peek through some crack in your life. Humble yourselves at the feet of Jesus; conquer the world with love and the wisdom of Christ. That is the way to guard your heart against the deceit of the enemy, Satan.

James, 1:5 says: "If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

Pray, beloved. Pray.

All glory to God in the highest. Amen.

*Please note that the words you will read below are not my words, but are words from a forum separate from mine. I have indeed read from other sources to confirm this information, and I have found some apparent connections and truths in the following statements. But, as we are all human, we can decide for ourselves what is and what is not.

For further reading on what Islam is not, read this:

CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS?
(This question was forwarded to someone who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. ) The following is his reply:

Theologically – no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia
Religiously – no. Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah Except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)
Sculpturally – no. Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.
Geographically – no.. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he Turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially – no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make Friends with Christians or Jews .
Politically – no.. . .Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual Leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , The great Satan.
Domestically – no. .. . Because he is instructed to marry four Women and Beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 )
Intellectually – no. . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically – no. . . . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does Not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot Co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually – no.. . . Because when we declare ‘one nation under God,’ The Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to As Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran’s 99 Excellent names.
After much study and deliberation…. Perhaps we should be Very Cautious of MUSLIMS in this country. – - – They obviously Cannot be both a good Muslims and good Americans. The more we understand this, the more we will understand the motives of our “Enemy in Chief”, and the better it will be for our country’s future.
This religious war is bigger than we realize.
Footnote: The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within and are working hard to do just that.
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.
